TG showcase 2011

I am amazed and privileged to announce Im doing the Torture Garden Showcase at there huge 20th birthday ball at the Coronet in London.

There are 6 designers in total all UK based showing a wonderful range of different styles and designs from the latex fashion world. http://www.torturegarden.com/events/birthdaysat/

I am thusly going all out to create a wonderful style and variations on designs I have done to give a defined look to the 3 models. I feel proud that I have been put into the show with the other designers and I look forward to seeing how it all turns out.

inspiration is currently deriving from a mixture of areas from goddesses to post apocalyptic with transformations of shades and a limited colour pallette.

Harness Braces and Am Statik general update

Firstly apologies for lack of products on the website my idea is to have a massive overhall of all my current samples and look into making a proper range which is underway but taking a lot longer than anticipated. once Ive done the first small amount I will photograph it and then the shop will be more filled with yummy products.

Ive been banned from uploading photos to facebook for 30 days and I've been missing sticking little making pix and customer pictures up on the page because its looking at bit empty in the picture post department. hopefully facebook will forgive me for my sins soon and then I can stick some more pictures up of the things I have been making recently.

So... here is the newest product from my all black with coloured accents collection I have been working on, its a range of simpler designs with really nice detailing. 

The Unisex Harness braces are one of the accessories, with 3 buckles and 3 clips they give nice structure to an outfit, by themselves or with some cheeky underwear.

They will come in a range of colours ( I shall be making myself some jade ones with pink lining). Options of flowers around the back and front will be available as well as shoulder pads or strands across the shoulder will be an option too.

Am Statik "Duress"

I have been talking about it for weeks, it is finally here.
Am Statik tomorrow will be one year old

In celebration of this I have created an entirely new Bondage & Play line called "Duress"
It is available to order through emails to amstatik@gmail.com and once I have completed the webshop it will be avaiable to buy at the click of a button.

Duress is a compartmental bondage range consisting or Ankle, Wrist, Neck, Waist & Thight restraints with the ability to be comibined in many ways using the double ended trigger hooks supplied.

The beauty of it is that the thigh and waist restraints can be joined by two laced straps enabling the wearer to lace up the front and back as well as the fun of slowly undoing them again.

Each restraint has top quality materials with the use of industrial rubber and strong rivetting makes them beauitful yet strong at the same time.

Duress

Vintage inspired lace is ruffled delicatly around the edges with soft toned trimming this makes them functional yet feminine.

Trixie D Licious by Phil Hunton

I recently was looking through google for Am Statik Latex to see if there were any reviews of blogs recommending my work to add links to my website and I came across some stunning pictures of Trixie D Licious who brought one of my sample sale dresses. It fits her perfectly and looks great in these cute pink pin-up style shots. The photography is also beautifully executed and it made me very happy to see my dress looking lovely!
Several times recently in lending garments for shoots I just get no images back and I find it disappointing so to find some photos I hadn't even arranged to be taken was just great! Happy times :)

Katy Perry in latex...

Well Im sure everyone has seen Katy Perry in at least one great latex outfit that they like whether you like her music or style or not. I recently came across her new perfume add picture and despite being photographed by the astounding Miles Aldridge she also has an incredible latex catsuit on in a leopard print design with pink inside panels and violet as contrast, the white tip on the inflated tail adds attention to detail which makes this a great piece. Im still trying to find out who created it but they are getting a massive appreciation for it from me and im sure many others as Ive recently seen it on the side of a london bus :)
It inspires me want to go an create more catsuits and one piece outfits which I am currently in the process of designing!

New Blog!

Okay so never really written a blog before but hopefully this will be an interesting place to see more work I have produced behind the scenes photos and general information about all things latex and couture fashion..... here goes :)
